I’m honored to serve as an officer on the International Center for Multigenerational Legacies of Trauma (icmglt.org). Last month, the founder of the organization, Dr. Yael Danieli, presented on intergenerational trauma for the Simon Wiesenthal Center‘s Midwest region. It was a critical discussion on how trauma is transmitted from generation to generation — biologically and psychologically — as it impacts the lives of so many. This is an area I am committed to understanding and applying to help people experiencing such trauma.
